I've been actively trying to get the motormouth badge from watching all the Zero Punctuation videos for the past few weeks. I've run into the problem that I look through the pages and pages of videos and I can't seem to find any more videos that I haven't watched. Am I the only one that is running into this?

I think it would be a great idea especially on the watch x amount/watch all of a particular show to have some sort of status indicator showing how close you are to achieving a particular badge. Thoughts? Ideas?

As more badges are invented, this forum-based trophy-pregression meter moves around like a slide ruler and never fills up ever.

The knowledge of this never-ending battle las left me in despair! To be reminded of it with a meter glaring me in the face is too much! Nay, I say!

Kind of like Steam achievements, do you mean? That sounds like it'd be quite time-consuming to implement; wouldn't it have to place some sort of marker to check on every ZP video?

Well, yes, but that also has to be the case right now otherwise you simply cannot get the badge, if there is no knowledge of whether you've watched the videos or not.

How easy or feasible would that be to turn into some sort of "progress meter" is entirely a different subject, however.

What I did was to just open each video in a new tab. I can't remember if that triggered the badge, or if I had to play them, as well. But in the end, it was the simple brute force solution that worked for me.

*Facepalms* derpski.

Well then I suppose it's probably worth asking in either the Tech Team [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Tech-Team] or the Ideas For The Escapist [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Ideas-for-The-Escapist] group, OP.

I almost had the same exact problem... Then, a week or two later, the badge appeared not long after watching all of the ZP videos [at the time] while being part of the PubClub...

In other words, you'll get it... Just remember to keep up with the latest ZP videos until you do, of course...

Other than that, since not all badges are geared towards X amount of total progression as well as the potential to "spoil" how you [fully] receive certain badges, I can't see that working outside of video/article content, at best...

Such an idea has been suggested before, and I think the conclusion either was or would probably be "Nice idea, but not important enough right now to implement."

It already has a marker to check on every ZP video for the badge of "Watching them all", so it already checks and records to your account data this information. From what i saw from staff, you only need to open the page, no need to actually watch the video, so its something in the pages code thats already there.

so the only implementation would be a visual representation of those markers in your account data.

I would be happy with that. Having some sort of visual representation for it. (possibly a sweet hat, lol)
