I have to urge that all the people bursting with wit, such as I-forgot-the-names who produce Zero Punctuation and Escape to the Movies need to turn in their scripts and have these publish alongside their videos.
Yes, it does help turning English into the Eternal Language by luring non native speakers even deeper into the cesspool that is Anglophone culture (and might help handicapped people, though direct subtitles in the player might do more there), but that is not my point.
My point is that all the wit these artists pour into their works here is lost among all the other entertainment on the internet! Everything that is not text is practically irretrievable on the net - when I remember something cool from somewhere in ZP or EttM, I can't easily find it again, and probably won't care enough to watch through all the instalments to find it (actually, I did once, see my first comment on this forum).
P.S.: Anyone mentioning AI coming to the rescue may be laughted at.
