I have to urge that all the people bursting with wit, such as I-forgot-the-names who produce Zero Punctuation and Escape to the Movies need to turn in their scripts and have these publish alongside their videos.

Yes, it does help turning English into the Eternal Language by luring non native speakers even deeper into the cesspool that is Anglophone culture (and might help handicapped people, though direct subtitles in the player might do more there), but that is not my point.

My point is that all the wit these artists pour into their works here is lost among all the other entertainment on the internet! Everything that is not text is practically irretrievable on the net - when I remember something cool from somewhere in ZP or EttM, I can't easily find it again, and probably won't care enough to watch through all the instalments to find it (actually, I did once, see my first comment on this forum).

P.S.: Anyone mentioning AI coming to the rescue may be laughted at.

This is actually an OK point. Some people may be handicapped or they might want to quote an episode and not wish to watch it again to check the dialogue.

I actually tried to find a counter-point to this for a minute and couldn't. They can send them and they count be posted in the thread made for that episode (i.e. Zero Punctuation: Saboteur)

Okay, motion passed. Now I just have to find a simple "Contact the Escapist" form anywhere on the site...

That would be a nice idea. But I don't want subtitles on my videos.

Yeah, I find them distracting, but if they were toggleable, I wouldn't mind.
I agree, sounds like a good idea, I would support it.

If we get subtitles, does that mean they can start speaking in different languages too?

I think Zero Punctuation would be even more exhilaratingly hilarious German.

As someone with English as a second language, I sometimes struggle to keep up with Yahtzee so I could see how that would be a good idea.
