doesn't 7 have a really good compatibility manager?
It has a compatibility manager, I wouldn't call it really good.
I would. If I can make it run Worms 4 (finicky bugger program), Roller Coaster Tycoon (old) and Myst (really old) on it, it's good.
The games and programs it can't run well are more important than the ones it can.

One thing I notice about all your posts I've seen on this forum is that you suck at giving examples.

MapleStory, there's an example. I don't bother giving examples for stuff that anyone with half a brain knows is true anyway.

I have confirmed that Planescape: Torment is Win7 compatible, and given that Baldur's Gate runs on the same engine, I'd suspect it is as well.

Well, apparently I'm using the wrong half of my brain, as I've had no troubles whatsoever with the compatibility manager.

None. At all.

You're just not running programs for which it's a problem. That's a matter of luck, not a factor of it working well. If it worked perfectly with every program they wouldn't have Windows XP mode.
