Depends, the 1-shot kills ones that are somehow considered "ELITE" by communities are awful, wheras a balanced one like in Tf2 is more fun to play with as you have to cope with its shortcomings.Pumpkin_Eater said:All fucking sniper rifles. There I said it.
they called the M16 the meat ax for a reason, that bullet breaks up inside of a target at supersonic speeds, it tears stuff upCrowser said:M16 on CoD4

But it's like a chainsaw. Chainsaws are awesome, right?WinterSoldier said:Gunblades that can't shoot.

Actually it does shoot, inside the blade. Said shot causes the blade to reverberate, and thus do the "critical hit".WinterSoldier said:Gunblades that can't shoot.

The one used by Squall in FFVIII doesn't actually shoot bullets.Caimekaze said:Actually it does shoot, inside the blade. Said shot causes the blade to reverberate, and thus do the "critical hit".WinterSoldier said:Gunblades that can't shoot.

The bullet then flies out somewhere. That I'm not sure about.
Designed to pierce body armor for anti-terrorist groups facing more and more better equipped criminals.Rigs83 said:Nerd factoid:
The P90 fires a 9mm bullet from a casing that holds 3 times the propellant of a standard 9mm Luger round so in essence it's a magnum 9mm.
It does require ammo to make them, which was what made me think how I did.WinterSoldier said:The one used by Squall in FFVIII doesn't actually shoot bullets.
Here are some diagrams I found a long time ago: http://sam-hall.deviantart.com/art/Gunblade-diagrams-14363767
I think Squall's gunblade is like the vectored recoil gunblade. It's pretty much what you just said but blanks are used.
Not really a practical weapon but Final Fantasy goes for style over practicality.
yeah i didnt really understand the reason to have it after you left the vaultKhazoth said:The BB Gun in Fallout 3, what use is it? Its more effective to just run up and smack whatever your fighting with your fists.
9mm and a P90? The hell are you talking about? It fires a 5.7X28 so its basically a miniature 5.56 and both the 9mm have a comparable level of propellant. It can penetrate body armor but lacks the stopping power of a larger bullet.Rigs83 said:The P90 in the very last Rainbow Six for the original Xbox. When it was introduced it was realistic in the fact that it was basically a 50 round rifle that was way more powerful than any 9mm HK or Uzi but less than the round fired by an AK-47. Even after the patch that dropped the power of the the gun it still had a 50 round magazine so the shooter could just pepper you till you dropped.
