Is there a band or several bands that if they were performing in your area or near your area that you would instantly drop everything you are doing and go see them? Regardless of what ever you are doing.

Mine
1. Hoobastank
2. Paper Tongues

None. There is no band who is that good to interrupt all the awesome things that I do without giving prior notice.

Besides I see bands all the time. I'm kind of over seeing bands.

Iron Maiden, who I'm going to see this July. I am pant-jizzingly excited.
Also, I definitely want to see Mastodon perform Crack The Skye in its entirety.

I have to travel four hours north to Chicago or one and a half to St. Louis... but Fleet Foxes would make the four hour trip a breeze.

Thousand Foot Krutch. Some of their recent stuff is meh, but they never fail to deliver a pulse-pounding stage performance.

Lights, Nightwish and 3 Doors Down. Those are the only ones I care enough about.

That doesn't involve time travel back to like... 1999 or earlier? Schaffer the Darklord. Now I just have to get to a New York burlesque show...

Anaal Nathrakh.

And, that'd be it, really.

Most of my favourite bands are studio projects, really.

Though, if Mirrorthrone/Unholy Matrimony/Weeping Birth was live nearby, I'd go in a heartbeat.

Ironmaiden, they put on a fantastic show. Also Rammstein and The Haunted are brilliant.
i'll agree with Iron Maiden, and maybe The Haunted. i wasn't a fan of their new album, Versus. Rammstein is just awesome, but for me, not a must see

mine..Iron Maiden..plus the Gigantour that came through here that i was forced to miss cuz my ride flaked on me... it was obviously Megadeth, with Arch Enemy, Into Eternity, The Haunted, The SmashUp, and Heaven Shall Burn. that to me is the perfect concert...if only Testament was with them ((of course, they were this recent tour, which sold out in 2 hours)) also, it wasn't Gigantour. they don't bring it here anymore. makes me sad. so pretty much all those bands minus The SmashUp.

Heaven Shall Burn is the band that opened the doors to Metal for me. they turned me into a metal vocalist and guitarist. they might even be above Maiden for me on the Must See list...but it's pretty close.

also, for anybody that hasn't i reccomend seeing All That Remains and SlipKnoT live. they have amazing live shows.

AC/DC
Dream Theater
Emperor
Moonspell

I've already seen AC/DC and Dream Theater once before and would drop everything to go see them again. Emperor and Moonspell I doubt I will ever get to see, what with Emperor not being together anymore and Moonspell not visiting Australia.

Rammstien definatly
Gonna have to agree with that.

Also, if Devin Townsend or his other band Strapping Young Lad came anywhere near where I live, I would drop everything and go see them.

I'm still kind of annoyed that Nightwish did a concert less than twenty minutes away about two months before I discovered them. Now I get to wait until their next album tour (which will be in early 2012 at best). When they come back, I'm there.

I STILL need to get my ass to a Streetlight Manifesto/Reel Big Fish show.
Streetlight for being awesome, and RBF for putting on a great show.
And if The Beat was playing, that would be sweet too.
