I'm not ashamed, I like whatever I like and other people who don't like that I like it I dismiss for being such jerks.
pretty much this, if people are going to dismiss your opinions just based on the "stereotype" they assume you fit into then quite frankly they are not worth the ground they stand on

For me it's McFly. I don't listen to them all the time, but I do enjoy them when the mood takes me. And I'm predominantly a metalhead. >.>
Oh yeah, they are awesome =)

Due to being a pop fangirl, the band I'm ashamed to say I like is Metallica. They are really good.

(Quote me on this and I will deny it.)

+1 internets for the choice of band to be ashamed of. :D

Although, of course, what you said never really happened ;)

Blink 182 and advert your eyes!!! Britney Spears-not all her songs, just a couple. ;_; I know, I know...i'm so weak for a beat.
I can relate to the Blink 182 part of that, which is pretty shameful because I listen to a lot of metal and indie (neither associated crowd approves)

I have been known to listen to a Natasha Bedingfield single every now and again when nobody is around to mock me.

ABBA, most of my friends hate it and it really doesn't get the "oh wow" factor any more...

Taylor Swift. Im usually not a big fan of romantic songs and all that but hers dont bother me for some reason. Listening to her does make me feel much less manly though. I have to go do some pushups to feel better

Tatu, Poe, Regina Spektor, well there are a few others but I am basically a sucker for a girl that can sing, as well as some really "80's" crap. Aside from that all I listen to is punk.

Aqua.

Because a) I was 12 when they first became popular where I live, and b) IT WAS THE 90'S (that's pretty much my blanket excuse for everything)
Pfft! Not nearly as good as an excuse as: "It was the 60's!". Or even the 70's or 80's.

OT: I'm not ashamed of it but my friends think I'm an idiot for liking Tool.
Also I think their "10.000 Days" album was really good.

How could I forget;(german version of) "99 luftballons" is insanely brilliant!

Probably some others as well. I'm not really ashamed about my choice of music.

Evanescense...dont even know if they were a "band" to begin with but im a sucker for women who can sing.
These.

Also Queen and Green Day, apparently, I didn't know people didn't like those bands enough to make others ashamed.

The Fast Food Rockers

Hahaha, call it what you like--but The Fast Food Song was hilarious. But people look at me funny when I tell them that.
