Sum 41 was incredibly popular for a long time.

Warsaw Pack, Band of Horses, Massive Attack.

Probably some people recognize em... but I only remember hearing one massive attack song before I bought an album.

Chris Chandler, Crocked Still, and Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian circus of dreams are my favorite really obscure bands. I can't think of anyone other than my immediate family who knows all three.

Wormhole Effect was a goup out of San Diego. They mostly did percussion-heavy instrumentals, but had enough variety to keep them interesting.

It's been said already, but sum 41 are still extremely popular among the 12-16 year old market.

Hot Snakes, Atlanta Sedition Orchestra, Turisas and Powerglove.

Dear God, Turisas and Powerglove. <3 I was so sad that they had to play second and third fiddle to the musical diarrhea that is Dragonforce. Mental degradation incarnate right there. One kinda okay song gets on GH3 and suddenly everyone thinks you're awesome, then they listen to your other albums. See also: Reverend Horton Heat. They're both classic cases of "You've heard one song, you've heard them all."

I discovered Clutch on Viva la Bam and downloaded a bunch of their stuff, they are pretty good. I also listen to Justice and Thousand Foot Krutch, but I don't know how many people know of them.

De La Mancha and Mary Janes Children. DLM is a hardcore punk/reggae/ska band and MJC is a political folk rock band. The two bands share a bass player, who is my friend Jon. Check them out on MySpace.

let see bands no one knows about i like. Blues control would be the main one i love this band but only me and the guy in missing link (music store in melbourne) i have heard mention this band and i bought the CD because that guy was playing it. I don;t know anyone that has heard of Claire Voyant, Christian Marclay or Justice Yeldham. The two latter are experimental musicians.

I don't have one for Boo Radleys but Eiffel 65 sang "I'm Blue" and some other songs like "Play station" or "Move your body"

Sweet sings "Ballroom blitz"

Three bands! Electric Six, I Monster, and Vatalic
