Massive Attack.

Probably some people recognize em... but I only remember hearing one massive attack song before I bought an album.
I fucking LOVE Massive Attack, I have all of their shit. A bit of trivia for you, the Massive Attack song "Teardrop" is the theme song for the show House, if you have the Mezzanine album (1998), it's song no. 3. Also, near the end of the third season(maybe fourth, I'm not entirely sure) there's an acoustic interpolation of the same song...I don't remember what episode exactly, but it's near the end of said episode...all I remember for sure is that House's team was running tests while the song was playing.

Another bit of trivia: Massive Attack is credited as the first ever "trip-hop" group, though they vehemently reject the title.

Anyone remember the band "Sponge"?
One of my ex-girlfriends turned me on to Sponge, I bought her a copy of Rotting Pinata for our six month anniversary.

Anyone hear of a group called: They Might Be Giants?
Particle Man met Triangle Man.

Since militant rebel music never seems to get a shout-out on these threads, I just gotta know, is anybody else out there familiar with Michael Franti and Spearhead?

Led Zeppelin?

Yeah. No one here's heard of them.
It's so sad... I was in a bar the other day and Whole Lotta Love came on... My friend said "Hey, isn't that the old Top Of The Pops theme tune?" I broke down in tears. Anyone heard of Saxon? Thin Lizzy?!

Crematory. It's a German gothic-metal band, and probably and absolutely no one knows about them.

Pretty sure they are just older and thats why they are not talked about. Honestly thats good classic music that, in my highschool, the black kids still appreciate and enjoy.

My band: 2gether. It was a fake band on mtv and had a stupid show. They actually became sort of a real band and released an albulm. It sucked but they were funny and had songs about breaking up is hard because my girl freind stole all my stuff and now i want it all back.
