I have seen "banhammer" a few times now and I think its a great word!. What would you call something with a similar meaning if you had a chance to? THREAD CLAW! would be mine. hehe *smiles*. what would be yours?

`Banhammer` works great because it gives an image of a judge banging down a hammer in court.

I guess you have made a terrific point. The Banhammer is so well-known, incorporating other word's to compensate wouldn't have the same effect.
