PETA ads have always been about trying to catch attention by using sex. But up til now their ads were also tinged with at least a small amount of intelligence. This one fails in that aspect. "Studies show Vegetarians have better sex." just lacks the clever edge the previous ads have. It could just be dumbed down for the audience though...

No, this is just an extension of the "look guyz, naked wimminz" advertising that they have been doing for a few years now. It's all attention grabbing bullshit, there's no thought out humor behind it. I can see how some people could try to link it to a tounge in cheek kind of thing.. but PETA in the past has shown it really isn't their intention.

True, didn't they have Dita Von Teese for one of their ads about a year back? To be honest I can't comment on their advertising methods because I'm not exposed to them all that often. But many "hollier-than-thou" organisation are going for this ironic/ sarcastic tone in ads recently.

I like the add for the beginning content (who doesn't love hot half naked women?) but then the rubbing of vegetables part came in and fucked it up. That's not mentioning PETA are a bunch of idiots, since they probably focused on the type of people who eat nothing but veg as well as work out a lot, compared to our average joe who likes steak. They're idiots, though at least now they've moved on from their stupid self righteous attitudes. Hopefully they'll start to be seen as some type of high end pornographers after that, specially since some idiots consider videogames murder guides, obviously being able to connect the most random things.

when infact, eating protin (meats) will allow increased and prolonged sexual desire and drive as well as increased stanima and endurance leading to longer more enjoyable sessions. Where as eating fruits and vegitables acctually decreases your sexual drive and the Sugars in fruity plants will create a temporary energy boost but will quickly be burned out leaving you tired very quickly meaning shorter less satisfing sessions. This is why in many cultures natural aphrodsiacts tend to be key organs of certian animals which do some times show to have some effect (in which these organs tend to be very high in protin)

stupid. the whole dogma behind peta is that eating meat is cruel to animals. regardless of the validity of that, this commercial is pointless because the slim chance of possibly increasing your sex life sorta pales in comparison to murdering animals. It seems like if someone is considering becoming a vegetarian, the whole sex thing is really a side note.

well those studies are just things i found with a quick google (I was interested about how much fact PETA had to its claim) but I think the main point of my post wasnt those studies I found...
but the first study, well is there anything to argue about that... that seems to be a common fact, and the 2nd one tends to be fairly obvious if you have ever smelt a male who is on a vegan diet.... in my personal experiance this seems to ring true... so say what you will.
