Well considering biology was my favourite subject seeing this is pretty depressing. I am stunned that anyone can be unsure as to where their organs are. The only people that can be excused for being wrong are people with situs inversus - where some or all internal organs are on the opposite side.

Edit.

P.S. Surely they could cheat to find out where their heart is.
P.P.S. Its not just Britons that can get things wrong:

Sorry, but if generalisations are being made...
ROFL I thought europe was a country xD

And I doubt Scotland would be one of the retarded nations since we invented the TV and the monorail.

I laughed so much when I heard that too. Its a shame really, the girl is kinda cute but anyone who thinks Europe is a country is a definite no.
In a completely unrelated side-note my shallowness knows no limits.

I have noticed on these forums quite a bit of US vs UK posts and threads.Didn't we all learn anything when we won the Korean War by nuking the British at the Alamo?--it's over...let it go.

I'm American,and I like the Brits.Sue me.
We will.
Us Brits have a fine legal team.

Seriously, the people taking this survey are the kind of idiots that....well, the kind of idiots who do surveys. They only represent at most 89% of my countrymen, so dont judge all of us by their standards please.

It feels good to see another country do something completely retarted for a change. I'm pretty sure idiots are evenly distributed across the world, but since America has over 300 million people, we statistically have more idiots.

Statistics can be formed to represent just about anything. Only data from 700 people was used, which is not exactly representative. If you like, I'm sure you can compile a statistical survey showing that the average human has 6 fingers on each hand using a selected 700 people. Not that this is the case here, but as far as statistics related to humans go it's difficult to get good figures without doing nationwide/large surveys.

My point is that if you pick subjects from the right places you could find 700 adults in any country that would be incapable of locating their own organs. But seriously - how can you not know where your heart is?

Did you know 65% of all statistics are made up?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I agree with you about the Heart especially - you can easily check to make sure you know where it is.

Hoorah for Chavs, not two bloody brain cells to rub together.
Time to chlorinate the gene pool, methinks.
