Yeah, I wouldn't argue that the style of gameplay doesn't support the concept, but he was basically saying that The Kid should have had an adventuring companion when one of your real-life friends wants to join in. No. Just no. Part of the presentation of the game revolved around the fact that you were pretty much the only guy left in the world that was capable of doing what you did in the game. It would make an interesting DLC idea. And it's not like it's gonna ruin the story in any way shape or form.
But Lets just hope their next game is as fucking amazing as the first. I've still got that F'n' soundtrack playing in the background.
