We've all been there, after hours of trying to avoid it the public bathroom is the only option. So you go in, shut the door, and sit down and as you're about to let slip the dogs of war, you see that a wise man/woman has written on the door/wall something that makes you pause, if only for a second, and either laugh or think about life. So what sort of wise or funny things have you seen written on the walls and doors of a public bathroom?

The best thing I've ever read on the wall of a bathroom was "To have faith in god, is to not have faith in humanity". Now I'm not here to debate the validity of that claim, merely to hear the best things you've read. So have at it.

I once read "You are special in your own way" which made me quite happy because everyone else writes horrible racist and bigoted things.

The best one I've seen was written behind the urinal in my school's library's fifth floor men's room. It reads: "He who stand on toilet, he who is high on pot -- Ancient Chinese Proverb"

Female toilets around britain are scattered with the phrase "I love Joe Hoopa". My real name is Joe Hooper, though apparently the 'a' makes it sound more gangster.

The funniest one I've seen was probably "I have sex here every week".

The most bizarre (and memorable) one I ever saw was a scribble on the that actually had my name followed by a "CALL ME" and a hastily scribbled phone number. I don't have one of the most common names in the world, but it was in a bathroom in a state I didn't even live near, (I was driving across country at the time) so I know it wasn't addressing me. Still, it was pretty funny.

I'm not sure about words of wisdom, but the funniest/ strangest I've seen is;

"Dave gives me bad vibes"

with a really distressed looking face drawn underneath it. wtf?

There's been one particular message that I've read that I don't think I'll ever be able to forget...

"He who writes on bathroom walls,
Must roll his shit into little balls.
And he who reads these bathroom walls,
Must eat the little shitty balls."

"You may be wondering why someone is writing on the bathroom stall when they should be trying to get out of this disease nest ASAP, well, I say to you, why did YOU decide to use the Taco Bell bathroom you idiot?!"

"Since writing on toilet walls is done neither for critical acclaim, nor financial rewards, it is the purest form of art"

Went to a bathroom in a local movie theater, this stall was apparently the gathering place of philosophers. A few of the quotes I remember.

"On the First Day, Man created god."

"Never regret anything, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted."

"If you are waiting for a sign. This is it. Do it. It will be Amazing."

Our old University Science Library had an awesome bathroom wall, there was a full conversation on types of toast, most interestingly was the reoccurrence of the types of penlines used, meaning several people wrote their line, came back later, and answered the respondses.

The funniest I've ever seen was in a public bathroom "I'm Trisexual" Eh?

Man, I wish that I remembered something scribbled on a bathroom stall. These are great!
