Hey man your loss, I am enjoying Harley showing her booty to meCasual Shinji said:Giving the creators of the DC animated movies freedom to include straight-up sexual content somehow turns them into juvenile little boys who just want to see characters fuck.
Now we have... t-this.
There's more than enough cartoon porn for that. And heck, that clip I posted already leaves very little to the imagination. Bruce Timm's designs usually don't. But these recent movies are just embarrassing in how much they want to show off their "adult" side.Samtemdo8 said:Hey man your loss, I am enjoying Harley showing her booty to me![]()
No, she's just going for some sort of thick Brooklyn accent or something, making her sound like she's doing a bad Al Capone impression. When Arleen Sorkin did her normal voice for Harley she sounded like someone in her mid to late 20's -- she never sounded this stupid. But yeah Harley's voice actress is just not doing it for me. I think the problem is she sounds like she's in her 30s, but the character's design look like she's 16.
Which one?Samtemdo8 said:Hey man your loss, I am enjoying Harley showing her booty to me![]()
Eh, at high oxygen concentrations fires are much more impressive. You'd get CO2 that way.madwarper said:Not only is the film terrible. But, the villains plan was incredibly stupid, even if it had gone exactly as they wanted.
Turn every living thing on the planet to a plant-hybrid. Since everything is using photosynthesis, we eventually convert all the carbon dioxide into oxygen. Nothing is converting oxygen back to carbon dioxide. The entire planet dies.
The one that doesn't look weird and unnatural. So I guess both are out.altnameJag said:Which one?Samtemdo8 said:Hey man your loss, I am enjoying Harley showing her booty to me![]()

So, a Killing Joke sequel.Natemans said:If I had to paraphrase this as RLM, "Batman and Harley Quinn is an experiment film in how awful fanfiction by creators you like ruin things you love."
Honestly this is the worst animated film made by the DC direct-to-video animated film group.
inu-kun said:I really liked it. The more sexed up portion is kinda weird (though sex appeal has always been a part of her character and the part itself is very short), but in general the tone is a lot more tongue in cheek, Harley is always fun to watch and the ending is amazing. This is for people who want a bit less GRIMDARK Batman.

Someone stop Timm before he OVAs again.
Why do people think the Joker is an interesting villain when for the last oh, 10-15 years or so he's been little more than a laughing serial killer (or some impossibly forward thinking clown god of bullshit)? People are a lot more shallow than they like to believe. They might point to some perceived intrigue about a crazy clown girl with a penchant for bad relationships, but really she's just a shapely blonde in a form fitting costume wearing dark make-up. As a sexual object she's pretty conventional, but her character can be interesting if the author cares to try. Just look at her recent popular comic runs.maninahat said:It looks quite terrible, so I guess I'm going to end up hate-watching it.
On a semi-related topic: why Harley Quinn, fans? Of all the Batman ladies, why go for the annoying, sugar baby character who primarily exists to get knocked around by the Joker?
If anyone is an interesting villain its Darkseid. I always prefer Evil Dark Lords over Psychopaths.Kolby Jack said:Why do people think the Joker is an interesting villain when for the last oh, 10-15 years or so he's been little more than a laughing serial killer (or some impossibly forward thinking clown god of bullshit)?
