Yeah. I was excited at first, I thought it meant I could control the Batarang Dark Sector/Heavenly Sword style, but no dice.FastFoot92 said:Has anyone else found the riddler trophy's?

Sounds like a bad port. The Graphics seem fine to reviewers- yes they run on the unreal engine but no one else has reported pop in. Batterangs are SUPPOSED to be used for momentary stuns, your supposed to throw them from cover or flick one at someone to countinue a combo chain. Can't help you with the PC controls mate.Asehujiko said:Apparently the pc version was delayed so nvidia could finish polishing their PhysX support which was supposed to allow things like realistically chipping a tiled wall.
That turned out to be a load of bullshit because in the demo potted plants and empty coffee mugs reflect batmarangs. They kill attacking sets of teeth and momentarily stun people, beyond which they only expose you to incoming fire. Graphics consist of Unreal Plastic in all it's texture popping glory. Controls are bad with the buttons strewn randomly across the keyboard.
This is either a very shitty port that's much better on the other platform or the console population is used to very low standards and/or are completely blinded by the fact that the game features batman.
I don't "obsess" over it, i made a note of the fact that the game was delayed because of something that doesn't exist and a shitty excuse for lazy developers.HG131 said:Bad port. Well, you obsess over graphics and stuff and they put time into it, so what do you expect? If you obsess over graphics you get bat controls/gameplay.Asehujiko said:Apparently the pc version was delayed so nvidia could finish polishing their PhysX support which was supposed to allow things like realistically chipping a tiled wall.

Hey I havent downloaded the demo yet but if what you say is true. I have already preordered it for the 28th of August and if you would like to know a full review (Leaving out spoilers and such) Ill be glad to help you.DrunkWithPower said:I just finished playing the demo for Arkham Asylum and I must say.... I am looking forward to the full game. Anyone else download it? Any thoughts about the game?
note: The demo came out today for PSN, tomorrow for XBL.
Yes, on Steam.Nurb said:is there a demo for the PC version?
I don't think you can in-game, I changed them in a prompt that appeared the first time I opened the program.Geamo said:I just finished playing the demo on steam - first thoughts are fantastic combat and setting, voice acting is top-notch. Really enjoyed zipping around and taking out henchmen.
Cons: The camera. I'll probably get used to it though.
Pros: Combat, (counters), Detective mode, takedowns, grappeling. Oh, and the lack of a proper crosshairs or surrounding HUD makes it feel authentic and *mildly* realistic.
Also, quick question. Anyone who got the PC demo on Steam know where to change the video controls? I've checked in-game but can't seem to find where to tweak the resolution and whatnot?
