So I went out and bought batman and after two and a half days had beaten the game and found all the riddlers secrets and was wondering if anyone else thought this game was quite short or what they thought about the surprisingly good game (in my opinion)

It was great, but short. Could have had more replayability.

PS: Loved the momentary 4th-wall break from Riddler once you've found 216 of his secrets.

Yeah I found it a bit short as well(story done on normal and all riddles solved)...although not once during the story mode did it feel like the game was dragging on which was good... obtaining the challenge metals should be fun though, just started those... and I suppose I'll try it once on hard too in a few months when I want to play it again.

Short game at moment I need one more trophy (Combo of 40x) before I get platinum trophy. But its very fun and is easily my game of the year and my 3rd favourite game ever. Stealth Sections are fantastic, Combat is well done and fun and makes you feel like Batman, Bosses are brilliant and scarecrows sections are just mind blowing.

It has it flaws like when you use ground takedown on an enemy and you like fly in and land on there foot or something and punch them in the knee but its not one of those flaws you destroy the game over.

To me, regardless of it's length, it looks like the type of game i'd restart over and over again.
While playing the PSN demo (sadly THAT was freaking short), I got a distinct feel or style of bioshock. Everything I did in the game I just couldn't shake the deja vu of bioshock. That's not a bad thing, I'm looking forward to getting this title when I can afford it, but hopefully for you, if you leave it a month or so, you'll want to play it again.
Failing that, i'll buy it off you? :D

It lasts about 12 hours, which is less than many games, but it means that the game with it's several different gameplay styles will never be around long enough to outstay its welcome, and there's only one part of the game where it gets boring. Better for it to be short and sweet then to go on for longer and get boring.

12 hours is substantial enough for me. I'm sold. Will get when I have $$
Finally a batman game that does not suck proverbial donkey cock.

It was a short game but also very restrictive. The maps were too small, I just wish they had an outside mission, on the grounds of the asylum. Still I did love the game

Trust me this isn't the game you'll play over and over, maybe 3 times max, it's good but it reminded me of assassains creed

I too found it short and that was playing through on hard, it probably was more frustrating, but I still managed to finish it in under 10 hours, riddler jokes included

I just started playing it and it's pretty damn good. The action, the atmospheer and the voices come together brilliantly.

at current count, I have finished assassin's creed like 5 times, so i most likely will play Batman over and over.
Yes it was repetitive, but i LOVVVVVED AC. The story is phenomenal.

Fair enough personally I found it a bit repetitive and the combat felt like there was something missing

It was short, sometimes buggy, with a great atmosphere and it starred Batman, which scores points any day of the week. Altogether, it was alright. It didn't change the world, but it wasn't that bad, and successfully passed the time.

It was an incredible experience. I wish the boss fights were better though. Most of them were so anti-climatic. The only ones I enjoyed were Scarecrow and Poison Ivy. The rest weren't really boss fights... More like "fight goons while boss watches".

I enjoyed the game. It's really difficult on hard mode also.

I love the game, but I don't understand the comparisons to bioshock that I keep seeing. I don't think it was remotely like bioshock. I don't think that's a positive or a negative.
