And, look at California with a state run by democrats and no issue of not having enough votes, democrats don't do what they say.
Yes, you've already beaten that drum.

But who cares - do you want something, or nothing? If you choose nothing, what's your rationale for why it makes the USA a better place?

He opposed several things in the bill.
Right - but that's very different from opposing the bill. Sanders made the pragmatic decision it did more good than bad, and voted for it. Because Sanders is pragmatic enough to know that if you can only get an inch when you want a foot, take the inch.

I don't give California as an example because California is only say 2 inches further along (towards the 100 yard goal) than say Florida; California has gone fucking backwards, it's worse. And that's with democrats in full control.

And, again, you don't have to vote for democrats or republicans, Bernie is for example neither.

But you're constantly avoiding mentioning why you think Biden is worse than Trump, which is what you stated earlier. It's perfectly fine to be disappointed by him because he didn't do 100% of what you wanted, but that's a far cry from what you said. In what way do you think the USA would be better off today if Trump had won the 2020 election?

Handy if you live in Vermont. Much less so pretty much the rest of the country.

"You can vote for someone else" is pretty much only meaningful if there is a realistic third option, otherwise it's just pouring your vote down the drain. The job of people who are disenchanted with the two major parties is to either make their own, or raise another party (Greens, Libertarian) into contention. This requires actual commitment - funding, campaigning, activism - rather than moaning on the internet about how shit the two main parties are.

For those wondering why some of us "throw our votes away" or don't vote

Normally they're not nearly this brazen about being on the same side but I guess given that they're trying to shove Biden v Trump down our throats again, (even though both have the approval ratings of gonorrhea) I suppose there's not much reason anymore to hide it.

Okay, a disclaimer if you live in a fucking swing state, well one I feel sorry for you, but let's say you do. Vote dem. Otherwise, vote for a joke candidate, write in your vote, etc. But do your due diligence. Now if you will excuse me I am going to boycott the US Costco food court which I will only eat if I am dying of hunger, and even then, it would take me some time to accept it.

It doesn't help that the major US third parties are completely unserious. It's always "let's raise a bunch of money and take a wild stab at the presidency!" followed by getting 5% of the popular vote and zero electoral votes instead of "let's raise a bunch of money and fund city council races/sherifs/state legislatures/judgeships/DAs/dog catchers".

Except for the right wing astroturf funding. Those billionaires *love* state races and it's embarrassing that the Dems don't have a counter
