360 obviously. :p
Listed as -1 point, when trying to buy, it costs the title amount.

It's there, so it's coming. expect it to actually be downloadable for everyone(those without the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor) very soon. :>

Discussion: How exited are you/not giving a fuck, about the Beta/the game in general? :p

EDIT: No longer on the dashboard. It's coman. :p

EDIT 2: Times of release on Xbox LIVE are as follows,

NZ 1:00 am 30th
Aus 10:00 pm 29th
Sweden 2:00pm 29th
GMT 12:00 noon 29th
US Eastern Standard Time 8:00 am 29th
CST 7:00 am 29th
PST 5:00 am 29th
Just want to say, according to the Xbox.com website, that the BF3 Beta is now up for download.

My friend had a glitch on the Dungeon Crawl website were it wanted to charge him $9999.99 (I think it was for the same game too).

I'm curious as to how these 'stuff-ups' occur. Especially for someone like Microsoft. You'd think there would be some sort of:

"Hey Bob"
"Yes John?"
"Should uh, this game here cost four-billion, two-hundred and ninety-four million, nine-hundred and sixty-seven thousand, two-hundred and ninety-five Microsoft Points? Shouldn't it be more around, say... like, I dunno, less?"
"Hmmn... that's a good point."
"Hmmn... yeah. Something is a miss here. We must get Jim to have a look."
"Would you like a tea."
"Oh yes please, that would be lovely."

Lost my train of thought.

Likely an issue with the maximum integer. :p

You sound like you know your polynomials from your <very similar word that rhymes with "polynomials" but is unrelated to the field of mathematics that it is>

Is there a layman's explanation for what that is? How that works? Why it's used? How it can go from $79.95 to $4,987,386,128,566,381,992,001,982.95

Also, the Beta is... not what I hoped for. :L

It's probably less of a bug than 'someone added it to the store without setting a price value so it used the default value'.

This happens sometimes on items that get added to the market. One of the Black Ops DLC suffered the same thing.

It's a simple clerical error in the process of uploading the game to live, nothing major.

It's probably less of a bug than 'someone added it to the store without setting a price value so it used the default value'.
And the default value for XBOX Live is 4,294,967,295 Microsoft Points?! :p

Still it makes sense to have the default value -1 MP so it's impossible to purchase without destroying the universe first. Or by some maths, making sure if there is a bug then it is shown as a ridiculously high value, so that people wouldn't even buy it if they had 500'000 dollars.

So that you don't have a whole load of naively excited gamers buy it for $12.73, and then have to apologise later with a straight face, fighting the urge to say: "Are you dumb or what? Did you really think there wasn't anything fishy with an unreleased game being Gee-hash-apostropy-bracket-five-poundsign-Q-3 dollars and 99 cents? What country you from? They use MouseTrap pieces as currency there?"

Just gonna throw this out there- its a BETA. DICE wants you to report bugs & game design flaws. If you're going to complain about the game, at least send an email with your bugs/concerns.

Anyone else got Origin completely blanking out? It's not showing the store, the games, chat or anything? I'm honestly amazed more and more each day how much EA can fuck up with it.

I've already been in the beta for the head start and I am pretty disappointed so far. There are a lot of bugs and a lot of design issues at the moment. The map choice and game mode for beta are also a bit disappointing.
Many of the things about the beta I can't stand are what BF2 fans get a hard on for also, so it might not be the game for me. Apparently I am some kind of massive noob because I like Bad Company 2.
Not so much a n00b but BF:BC2 is a side series, a much more arcadey shooter, where as the "main line" BF3 is more of a simulation. Much more realistic in a lot of ways.

Which I'm all for ^.^
