Battlefield 3 Favorite Class?

So now that Battlefield 3 is out, and I'm assuming at least some of you play the online, what's your favorite class? I personally love the engineer. The guns are my favorites and I feel like they have the best qualities for me. And I have always hated vehicles in that game. They always have a habit of demolishing me every couple of minutes so being able to destroy those is an obvious plus.

Agreed on Engineer, got my first real "Battlefield moment" for BF3 in my last game as one. Several of them actually.
The Scar suits me to a T, it's an outstanding weapon. That, along with things like the stinger on Caspian Border makes you a force to be reckoned with.

Last game, spawned as an engineer, saw a jet fly overhead, pulled out my stinger and locked on, fired and then watched the plane spiral out of control and hit the ground. That's not where it ended however, as it spiralled out of control I watched it then collide with an enemy jeep, bursting into flames. Not only did that credit me for two vehicle kills, but it also credited me with a road kill. Left me laughing my ass off for the better part of a minute.

Engineer. I love ruining a tank's day. Also, mines are great. Nobody checks for them, they just plough forwards and get me a free 100+ points. Watching their ragdolls fly out of the burning wreckage is fun too.

Support as it's the only one I've played as so far. Love the PKP Pecheneg and C4.

I haven't gotten the full game yet. However from my Beta and Alpha game play, going to go Support. For one, people almost always need bullets, so free points. Second, I love the LMG's in this game, especially the SAW, I had a lot of fun with it when I unlocked it.

Crap. I dont memorize the names of those things. But which ever one throws out medkits. The weapon it that class is decent enough for me to rack up kills and Im actually useful to my teammates.

Got to go with the engy. The rocket is such a versatile tool its unreal. Someone hiding in a window? Blow up the entire wall/building. I absolutely hate mines. One of my favorite things to do is either be a tank hunter, or drive tanks. Mines are contrary to both my play styles at once.

Also engie, but then I've mainly only been playing large conquest maps, and there are so many vehicles on those maps that you pretty much have to be engie. Also I don't trust teammates to take out vehicles for me; I just know that as soon as I change to another class I'll end up fighting a bunch of tanks with no teammates around to help.

Assault. I like healing/reviving people. It's also nice to be able to heal myself, especially considering I almost exclusively use shotguns. MY 870 SHOOTS GRENADES.

support. Support mortar + snipe/spotting = ownage. and I don't play as recon because i'm not a twat.

Plus I can snipe with the shotgun. No, seriously. you can put slugs and a sniper scope on your 870, own snipers at long ranges, and still be competent in close quarters.

Probably the Engineer. I prefer the weapons they get to use and I kind of like to blow tanks up.

I've been playing as engineer mostly. I love to blow up tanks and also the carbines are really good in this game. One problem I have with the game is the recon class, I feel like it got majorly nerfed compared to Bad Company 2. In BC2 I almost always played as a sniper, now, I can only kill with head shots and that isn't always an option especially when someone is running like they are most of the time. I don't know, maybe its just me sucking at sniping in this game.

Gonna go with Support since they have a wide range of things to do. Need to blow up a tank? C4. Need to kill or scatter that entrenched group? Mortor. Need to suppress some people? SAW (aka M249). Buddies running out of ammo? Drop some ammo packs.

Support is just freaking awesome although I still think that ammo should have stayed with the assault and support should have been the medic but Ill deal with it.

I have loved Recon since Battlefield Bad Company 1.
But since I found out that the starting snipers was weak, I have played Recon, Assault and Engineer.
Switching roles whenever nessesary.

Btw, have any one but me jumped out of a jet moving directly upwards, but ended up standing ON the jet as it flies?
