Battlefield 3 (PC) "The Great Destroyer" Stuck on Loading Screen but able to fire Gun

I've been playing the single player campaign (loving it so far, every level was intense and kept me wanting to play more), but I'm on "The Great Destroyer" mission, and right when I jump on the Train, I get stuck on a loading screen (with the blue square in the corner) and when I click my mouse, a pistol fires, and the level never loads.

Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

I am having the exact same problem. The loading screen after jumping onto the train in "The Great Destroyer" never ends, but whenever I press the mouse click I can hear the character firing a weapon. Would really love this to be fixed so I can finish the game.

No need to lash out bro. People are reporting similar things to DICE and they should be fixed in the first patch (though no release date has been announced). Your best bet is to go post on the official forums and let DICE know about it and see if anyone has come up with a workaround.

I'm a Huge Tom Clancy fan, I love spy and military fiction, and everything about the story hit every button plot wise.

NEwho, I finally got around it, Instead of reloading from the checkpoint, restart the mission.

And no, I'm not a EAxian bot. I mean, seriously, look at my registration date, I've been here over a year.
