Something that is jarring is not something I'd be 100% fine with to be honest.
That is quite humourous coming from someone with a metal gear solid avatar. :)
How so? I mean it's obviously up to the player but there's nothing jarring about MGS to me or I'd obviously not like it.

Uhh...really? One would have to ignore the vast majority of the series to think nothing in it is considered jarring. Or was the concession that Kojima? work is eccentric as all hell already established? Right off the bat there are heavy-handed themes about war, child slavery, rape, etc. contrasted with various kinds of poop jokes, T & A displays and chicken suits.

Don?t get me wrong, they are some of my favorite games of all time, but they are also full of contradictory aspects. Having said that, it?s all by design, as Kojima understands the importance of comic relief.

I mean with Kojima (And Japan) you know what you're getting in to, it might be weird but I wouldn't say it's jarring. I understand why some people would consider the series jarring though and therefore not like it.

I just find it funny that someone would think it's nebulous.
I'm happy to wait while you get the member list together.
Maybe the people I was replying to since I know we've had this discussion in another topic?

Ah. Thought you were talking about the world beyond the confines of this site. Carry on then.

You're excused. This time.
