After looking at some entertainment news, I saw some news on Rihanna (The singer most famous for singing 'Umbrella' and 'Only Girl in the World')

Apparently she's in it. But this isn't normal Battleship, this has friggin Aliens in it!

Someone tell me this is a dream, i honestly don't see how this can work. Next up, i bet you there will be Tetris or something -.-

Since the game doesn´t have a story, they´re pretty much making an original movie, so it might be just as good as any alien-attack movie, regardless of whether or not they´re slapping the name "Battleship" on it, at least in theory. Actually, I don´t think anyone involved has actually played Battleship, because if they had, one would think they´d make a movie about a battle between two fleets.
That they named it after a famous board game and cast someone who´s famous for something other than movies (Rihanna), does not scream "We made a great movie, come see it because of its astounding quality!", though. The trailer doesn´t look too good, either, so yeah, it´s probably going to be pretty bad, but not bad enough to deserve any recognition for that.

As for the Battleship movie...color me ambivalent. It looks pretty generic to me (then again, you can't expect much from a plot-less board game).

Now if it was Minesweeper, that'd be a different story:

Frankly I will watch this movie BUT to only see someone say "You sunk my battleship" mabey Liam Neeson, that would be hell funny. But overall it looks intresting.
