Bayonetta. New Lara Croft?

Ok wow.... the person who's developing this must be VERY, VERY, VEEEEERY desperate for game sales. I can tell just by all of the crotch shots.

Especially when they're using slowmotion crotch shots.

Take into consideration that within 5 seconds of her appearing there's a shot of her rear in tight leather, you just know that they're aiming for high sales in the "horny teenage boy" section of the market.

There's nothing wrong with a female lead, but this, at first glance at least, seems to be glued together with little more than Fan-service. I'm not sure if that's a good foundation to build a game on. =)

It's not made by Sega. It's published by Sega. You notice how there's more than one company name on the trailers?

If i bought this game, i'd probably have to cry myself to sleep. Someone with rocketslaunchers attached to their legs? theres only one person who can blast the ground with a rocket and not lose his legs. also he's very patriotic and wears a helmet, i'll let you guess who he is.

She reminds me of Dante more then Lara Croft. Except Dante's clothes are actuallty clothes. They both have one-liners it seems. I'll play it for the combat.

Meh, looks okay actually. Devil May Cry was cool, but I disaprove of how it's not selling on gameplay, just sex. Actually, even a bispecticeled leather-clad woman spouting one liners whilst destroying demons'd be an upgrade to Nero.

Is it me, or does this look like the combat of devil may cry combined with the fanservice of Lara Croft?

But with more guns, more combo's and more nudity. Plus, Bayonetta is 9000> more awesome than Lara Croft, who is noting more than an athletic, aggresive thief (as Yathzee pointed out). Plus, Bayonetta has glasses, that sold me.

i dont think shes gonna be close to Croft. she got sex appeal extrordinaire, 4 guns, magical hair and she kicks angel ass. it is definately gonna be an awesome game.

1. shes destroying angels, not demons.

2. her "leather" is her hair.

3. watch the e3 demo. the gameplay looks awesome.

4. the one liners are quite good IMO.

This is just an incredibly blatant copy of DMC, especially DMC4 what with the angelically influenced enemies.
