My fiance strongly supports it, seeing as how she bought me Persona 4 when we met the first time so she could cuddle up beside me and watch me play. We had great fun the other night trying to unlock the eternal modes of Katamari together.

She's terrible at games but greatly enjoys playing them anyway, she's beat every KH game and both Persona 3 and Persona 4 and wants to watch me play FFIX for her because hse wants to cosplay Zidane. We pretty much grew up together being 600 miles apart and now live together and are engaged after dating two years long distance. So I hope it works out too. So far so good :3

yep, mine is completely accepting of my gaming addiction...and she's an enabler as well, she fuels the addiction by suggesting we go to gamestop every couple of weeks to look at/buy new games god i love her

I only date girls that play games. I used to date the preppy cheerleader types but they proved to be very dumb and unable to produce a thought beyond "Let's go tanning,those shoes suck buy this 120$ pair that look the exact same, and I'm bored lets get drunk" my mind can only take so much, now every girl I date gets turned on by the fact that I can laugh like Light from Death Note. and strip super smash bros is very fun.

My last one didn't. She pretended to accept my passion for games even if she didn't understand it herself (to her, all entertainment is just that: entertainment - the idea that storytelling and art had meaningful impact was ridiculous to her). But I eventually found out that she had basically expected me to grow out of it eventually. I hate that expectation: it carries the implication that video games are a toy, nothing more than a plaything for use by an irresponsible child.

My current girlfriend, on the other hand, is more than okay with it. She's not a gamer, but being around me before we started dating, she started developing an interest in the artistic and literary aspects of it, and I'm currently facilitating her education in the world of video games. It's awesome.

The girl I'm dating has watched me play some 3d dot game heroes and I don't really think she's a fan of it. She said that games are too complex for her now so I told her to remember the good ole gaming days of the NES and put up with it. I won't be changing my gaming habits any time soon, I don't think...

My girlfriend is currently obsessed with Ultimate Alliance 2, she loves playing as Jean Grey. I'm fond of johnny fireball personally.

She's also logged quite a respectable 30+ hours in saints row 2, she's even getting pretty good at it xD

Honestly, I can't imagine being in a relationship with a non-gamer. They wouldn't understand me at all. Fortunately, my husband is also a gamer, so I don't have that problem. Granted, he just kind of shakes his head and laughs when I try to extol the virtues of Dragon Quest to him, but that's ok.
