I have a beard, not a fantastic one, but it's a work in progress.
Why do I have a beard.

Well when I was six years old I suddenly came to the realisation that:

'Id' really like to look like Jesus'

I shit you not. That's what I was thinking at age six.
So I endeavoured to grow a beard and some long hair, after realising that long hair is a pain in the arse I've settled for medium bed-head and something that looks like a stubbly Lincoln.

My goatee is about 2 1/2 inches long and the rest is maybe an inch long. I feel as if should shave, but if I shave it all off then I look kind of girly...

I'm the only one in my immediate family that can grow a full beard. I'm happy.

I let it be a little fuzzy, maybe stubble but I don't like having a beard or any actual facial hair style, just some fuzz

No I can't grow a beard. Stupid genes... I inherited my beardless-ness and also my massive love for alcoholic beverages from my father.

Do I have a beard? Yes.
Why? because I enjoy the extra 15 minutes in bed that I would otherwise spend shaving every morning.

Nope. Army doesn't allow beards... besides they're too difficult to maintain while keeping my face under control.

No, for two reasons. For one, I'm not sure I'm masculine enough to make a beard look good. I'm a little on the pretty side, which doesn't mix well with beards. Two, I couldn't grow a beard if I tried. I still haven't stopped growing peach fuzz in the place of real hair.

Only if you're a girl, and growing a beard.

I've had a goatee of some description for at least 10 years, except when work at industrial sites has required me to shave for safety reasons. Currently, I'm sporting a 2-3" Van Dyke, simply because I want too, but the last beard was a 2" Fu-Manchu.

I just prefer to have a beard, and I don't give a damn what anyone says about it, since my g/f likes to tweak it now and again. I figure, if she didn't like it tickling her thighs, I might have a reason to shave/trim it, and everyone else can play hide and go fuck themselves.

No beard for me. I went through a beard phase awhile ago. However, most of my recent jobs have required me to be clean shaven (for one reason or another). The most I might grow it out to now is one-day stubble.

I don't because first of all, I don't want one

Second, I have extremely high amounts of estrogen so I can't grow facial hair.

Don't you dare laugh at me.

I would have a beard, but every time I try to grow one I look more like a serial killer than I normally do.

My facial hair rapidly fluctuates. Last week I had a beard. This week no beard. When I have a beard it is because I can't be bothered to shave as shaving needs to be done every day or every other day. It depends also depends of the girlfriend. Sometimes she doesn't mind it and sometimes she does.
