Becoming Asexual

Would any of you want to stop feeling sexual attraction towards people?
I would love to be asexual, after all, whats the point of being attracted to people when you can never have them? Any of you know how to become asexual? This is pretty pointless isnt it.

No I do not and I have no desire to be =P Do you just have bad luck with the opposite sex or are you referring to celebrity attractions? Either way, I find that I'm attracted most to my girlfriend and I can indeed have her... also I've never felt the need to reproduce on my own. That would be creepy. My wife can do that later.

I'm pretty sure chemical castration makes you mostly asexual, though it really screws up your brain chemistry and in the few cases it has been done it was irreversible. There are times when I wish I was asexual because I sometimes do waste a good chunk of time worrying about relationship like things, but in the end I really do think I want to get married/ experience love.

I don't think you become asexual by way of force, it's rather something that takes you itself. Also, there are always people who want to be with you, don't let yourself think there aren't.

I wouldn't say I'm asexual, but I'm fairly apathetic when it comes to love. I've never really been into the whole girlfriend/boyfriend thing, but I'd have one if the chance arrived. Meh, I guess I just don't care enough.

The best thing to do is to stay how you are, however. No good comes out of pretending to be something else.

A friend of mine believes I'm asexual, I disagree. Just because I'm not actively searching for someone and physical acts do not come spontaneous with me does not mean I'm not attracted to pretty ladies.

The definition of asexual is to not be attracted to either gender. So I don't think it stops them from doing that. I only have one question to add to yours: "To what?"

Well i'm in university doing a degree in contemporary dance but apart from that, "high school virgin nerd" pretty much sums me up. And theres no method to not caring about never knowing love? Other than being born that way? Man life is pretty cruel.

From what it seems like, women respect confidence beyond everything else. Dosnt matter if you have an I.Q of 138, are a professional dancer, a writer, and will care more about them than anyone else ever will, if you dont have the confidence to generate the immediate attraction than its all over. Its fucked up is what it is. I swear i'm going to burn the whole fucking thing down and start again. The world is a cruel place, but it dosnt need to be. People make it that way.
