Now imagine all those games are used to create a new Super Smash Brothers style game.

What franchises did you get and what would be the top 3 characters you think would HAVE to be there?

For me I thought of King's Quest, so I've basically got Sierra Smash Brothers and it just has to have King Graham, Roger Wilco, and Larry Laffer (aka Leisure Suit Larry)

I came in thinking Mass Effect.

Which means I get Commander Shepard duking it out with the Arishok, Minsc, and Gao the Lesser (as voiced by Nathan Fillion, of course).

My thought was Prince of Persia, so Ubisoft's characters are going at it. In other words, the Assassins are going to be brawling it out, and we may see an appearance from a few other characters that no one will play as or care about because they weren't from Assassin's Creed. I, however, look forward to seeing characters like The Prince, Rayman, and Jade going against each other, and that's just scratching the surface of what they can work with. Seeing Ezio would be nice, but he should be the only assassin. Maybe alternative skins for the others, but...actually, no, if they're staying to the spirit of Smash Bros., they must have all the assassins and given them near identical move sets, just like Brawl did with the Fox characters!

The franchise was final fantasy .The developper was squaresoft . Or should i say Square Enix. I just don't know. Anyways, my 3 charcters would be: Kefka ( Best final fantasy villain imo) ,Balthier ( Best final fantasy protagonist imo)and Ramza( Because Final fantasy tactics was the best FF game imo).

I thought of GTA, so I guess we've got all the protagonists from the last few games (Niko Bellic, Trevor, Michael, Franklin, etc.). Add to that John Marston from Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, Jimmy Hopkins from Bully and Cole Phelps from LA Noire and you could have a solid game... I guess. I mean, I'm not sure what you'd be doing, gameplay-wise, with all of that to work with.

Timesplitters/Free Radical so its not a big selection of games, still with just the Timesplitters games there is like 400 characters to choose from.

Add to that the protag (and the secondary characters) from Second Sight, completely forget about Haze other then maybe have the guy from the cover and I guess it would basicly be Timesplitters 4 featuring guest characters mostly all from Second Sight.

Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre. So Enix, which technically means I could use Square-Enix characters... but I'd rather use the heroes from the good games they made before the merger.

I did once imagine Will from Illusion of Gaia being in Smash Bros., but besides the obvious barriers they already had two telekinetic hero kids. Aside from him and his transformations:

Lenneth and Freya from Valkyrie Profile.
Claude and Rena from Star Ocean 2.
The Master from Actraiser (basically God possessing a statue)
Marina from Mischief Makers.
The player-named red-haired roboticist hero from Robotrek (like Pokemon Trainer except with 3 giant robots). Maybe call him Akibara after his father.
Deneb the Witch and Warren Moon from every Tactics Ogre game.

They're definitely not a company afraid to do cameos or crossovers in their games. Such a cast would work well in a 'good guys from different worlds unite to fight a universe-devouring evil!' scenario a la Project X Zone or indeed Smash Bros. Brawl.

I was thinking of Dragon Age. Super Smash Bros Bioware would be awesome. Shepard coming in and punching out the warden when Revan drops in owning all the ass. I like this idea. I like it a lot.
