Hi,
I'm going to lose the majority of my friends starting tomorrow. Nothing happened, but they are just going back to the U.S. Thing is most of my friends are exchange students from the U.S. The program is over, so now they are going back. And now I'm bumped, I'll have only one friend left (a great friend, but still).
I know I'm going to make new friends and all, but that doesn't change the fact that I feel misserable now. Anyone here with some good advice for getting unbumped?

keep in touch, upload photos, look at their photos, communicate, save money to then go see them.

In the modern day and age with skype, facebook, and twitter there's no reason to ever lose friends. You can be connected on a personal level from opposite corners of the globe.

Exactly just keep in touch with them and maybe one day you can meet up with these friends at some kind of reunion. :) also worse comes to worse meet some new friends to keep you busy until you see the other friends again

Come on you guys, that isn't the same and you know it. Just the fact that I won't sit down for them and have a few drinks for a very long time brings me down. I'm visiting the states in a year, and probably drop by. But still I effectifly lost my friends.
Yeah I'll make new friends (I'm good at that) but I'm just feeling blue now, and I was asking for advice to not feel blue anymore, basically what do you do when you feel blue?
Maybe it shouldn't have been in the advice forum

Are you implying the posters did not do their best? They tried to cheer you up! But if your feeling blue, call up that one friend and just go have a beer right now. Tell him/her your bumped and let it all out. Unleashing frustrations like this can really clear your mind which you can fill up with happy thoughts!
