Being evil in games with moral choice

In games like fable,fallout and dragon age they have a moral choice system I have played multiple of these games and in online co-op with some friends in fable 2 and alot of my friends always play evil and I wonder why people like to take the evil role then the good and its not just my friends alot of people like to take the evil role in moral choice games. I for one play as the good guy no matter what but it just boggels my mind in why people like to be a evil person killing innocents and such.

2. You get benefits like lots of money and things
3. you can't be evil in real life so why be good in a game?

but on the downside in games like mass effect being renegade messes up the story and makes everyone hate you sooooo i guess theres some good and bad things about being evil.

I'm always a dick in my games because no matter how hard i try i can't be a dick in real life . Plus when on a game a child asks you to save her kitty from a tree and instead you shoot said kitty with a sniper rifle and go back and talk to the kid , the reaction is just so damn funny . Plus it's more fun to be evil than good . l lie , i cheat , i steal ese ( go watch some wrestling if you don't know where thats from ) .

Dragon Age Origins's moral choice system was a alot more grey and vauge than other game's like Dragon Age 2.

I tend to play first good as I feel compasion even to imaginary characters and then I play it evil. In Oblivion being evil is very inconvenient due to guards ambushing you constantly and never giving up. Hopefully Skyrim will let the balance be fairer.

I get it in theory, because it is loads of fun to be a dick when there are no consequences. How I know this I'm not sure, because I can never remember doing it. I always, always play good in a game. I just plain suck at playing evil. I always tell myself I will do it, but then I can never bring myself to.
