The other day, I was riding the subway home when I noticed the person next to me reading Fahrenheit 451. Fahrenheit 451, to me, was one of the greatest reading experiences I ever had, and I found myself jealous of this person because he was in the middle of something that I found to be such a great experience. Maybe its a selfish thought, and maybe I should have been happy for him instead, but i found myself wishing I could be in his place, experiencing that book for the first time again.
What do you guys think of this? Have you had a similar experience with something else (i.e a movie, game, book, etc)?

Every time I see a ferrari or a lambo I always think "What makes them deserve a supercar? Why not me?" Seriously, why not me?

I'm jealous of myself, reading the original Dune for the first time right now. I love it. I wish I could be in my shoes.

Whenever I watch one of my friends at work, completely absorbed in whatever they're drawing or writing at the time, I'm jealous of their inspiration, and that they're caught up in the frenzied feeling of artistic production that so very rarely hits me.
