Turning 28 this year. I figured I was one of the younger ones.
I think you're one of the older ones actually.

The youngest I've seen was 12 - I'm 15 (16 in a month).
I remember lurking this site since I was eleven years old, but I didn't make my account until 12 or 13.
I'm fifteen now, turned fifteen about a month ago.
I'm betting someone in their 40's is on here.

Im only 16.

I feel like a little kid...
I am a little kid. I wish I was older, then I could go the the escapism uk, and not be a minority here, and be able to join that anti-children group without being a hypocrite.

I'm 38. So I'm probably not the oldest if Furburt is correct (which he usually is) but I'm probably one of the older ones.
Jesus, you sound ancient. Haha, I guess gaming (or the message boarding portion of it) is something more suited for the "younger" generations. Am I saying "old" people can't be tech savvy? Goodness no, just that there seems to be less appeal in coming to a site like the Escapist.

I'm going to go ahead and say Root is the oldest person I know of here, and he's going to feel pretty old when he reads this thread with his name popping up so much.

Sorry man. :p

I'm 20, which seems to be about the average of this thread so far.
Hehe, someone send this to him!

I'm sure he'll get a laugh. Or chase us with a cane, not sure which.
I hear he used to have a pterodactyl, but they banned it from the roads.

He tried to cry, but all that came out was little 'Ppfts' of prehistoric dust.
I heard that too, apparently the DVLA took them off the roads because they didn't have a large enough crumple zone :(

You know, I would say root is probably the oldest, but I'd have been ninja'd like 20 times.

OT. I'm 17, the youngest member of the TF2 PC group (at least among the regulars)

Didn't he try to file a complaint, but they said his membership card expire? Funny thing is, he was a member for life :p

A 25-year old is nowhere even close to the oldest person here. I'm 26 myself (until next month anyways, I'll be 27 then), but while I'm apparently older than about 90% of the people on these forums, I'm one of the younger 'old folks' - for example, one of the members of Adults Anonymous [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Adults-Anonymous] is 44.

Well, I'm 16 (nearly 17) and I thought I was the youngest here. Turns out I was wrong. Although it's nice to see more people of my age here.

Incidentally, my brother, who you know as Fniff is 12, but he got suspended for a year because you have to be 13 to post on the forums. Sad.
I feel we should stage a protest because your brother was nothing short of legendary.

On the plus side, they're doing a much better job with his birth certificate in the Natural History Museum. Or so I hear.

You'd be surprised. You know, being 30+ actually doesn't mean we change a whole lot from when we're in our 20s, just means we're a bit more experienced and (hopefully) wiser than we used to be. In a way I'm kind of relieved I'm not the oldest, not that I thought I was, because there's still this silly stigma against grown men playing video games because (oh crap... here it comes) in my day games really were a newfangled kind of entertainment mostly appealing to children and the niche out there. If not for people like us, who knows what the industry would look like today.

Sometimes I forget how young some of you are though.
