In the past few months, me and my friends have been playing a few 4-player co-op games with each other and they've been greatly entertaining.

First of all, we played New Super Mario Bros. Wii and ended up getting every single Star Coin in every single level.

Then, I bought Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, and we completed that in a couple of weeks.

And most recently, we got our hands on Rayman Origins and have completed that too, we just need to collect 26 more of them pink face things and then we've got 100%.

But now, we've ran out of titles, so I'm hoping you guys can help. I'm looking for 4-player LOCAL co-op games that we can all play.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: No exclusively PC titles.

Crash Bash has brought me hours of entertainment on the PS1. You should defenitly check it out if your PS3 can play PS1 games.

Left 4 dead is the obvious answer that i'll get out of the way right now. Just slap it in and go on a zombi killing spree!.

If you have enough mice/keyboards/gamepads, Jamestown for PC seems to be just what you're looking for.

It's a 4-player local co-op bullet hell game on Steam. $10. AMAZING.

If your up for PC Magicka, Borderlands, Diablo, Trine 2 only has 3 but you can play a sort of round robin with it same with Lord of the Rings: War in the North.

Other than that I can only think of Super Smash Bro's Brawl or Mario Kart Double Dash and, maybe, some version of Pokemon.

Obvious answers inbound:
Gears 3.
Practically all Kart games.
Practically all team sports games. (Almost have a full team for a basket ball game).

And the obligatory link to Co-Optimus.

Magicka, Killing Floor (though that can go up to 6 people), and Terraria.

Left 4 Dead is... alright, though not very replayable. x_x

Castle Crashers, yes. That game is so much fun. Uhm..Four Swords is on the DS, aint it? Depends on how many systems you have available. You Don't Know Jack if you're feeling a little more in the mood for a game show.

Alien Swarm(free to play) and KillingFloor, 2 games in which cooperation is most important. Definitely check them out.

Uhhhh, what hasn't been mentioned yet?

Have you tried Aegis Wing on the 360? It probably won't last long, but it's fun for a little while.

From the previous suggestions, Left 4 Dead is the best co-op game I've ever played, but it's only two player local co-op, so that might disqualify it. I would also like to renew that recommendation for Kirby: Air Ride, particularly that City Trial mode.

I used to piss away quite a lot of time back in the olden days of N64. Goldeneye 007, Super Smash Brothers, Perfect Dark, WCW vs NWO World Tour. Ahhh, good times.
More recently for strictly 4 player games, I had a lot of fun with the first Left 4 Dead.

4 player co-op?

Umm ... how many players was the ol' Dungeon Siege? That was pretty fun in a group.

If you all have PCs... play magicka, seriously.

I guess if you are willing to take turns, play super smash bros. brawl.

Also... mario kart double dash is the closest to co-op mario kart game. It's also pretty fun.

Me and one friend have been doing that, but us two just found it got stupidly hard as we got quite far in, so we don't bother with it now.

That's the second time I saw that game of the forums this week, I always thought crash bash was a obscure game without any real notoriety.
