What do you think is the greats accessory for video games of all time is? It's something you think any gamer should get with any particular console(s) or PC/Mac, but if they don't get it then it doesn't really matter (they're just missing out). Examples include (but not limited to) 3ed party controllers, special headsets, additions to consoles, etc.

I would have to say the greatest accessory is the Gameboy Player for the Gamecube. Being able to play Pokemon: Emerald on a 19" screen is B.A. Once I found out about this when I bought a used Gamecube (and the Gameboy player in addition) I was really disappointed Nintendo didn't add a slot to put a DS card into the Wii.

Ha you stole my answer , plus you can trade your pokemons to the gba version or vice versa if you have no friends on hand .

Since OP ninjad me i' going to say the turbo controller for the snes . If anyone ever had a snes the turbo controller was the best acessory , no more button mashing . My thumb has bended into a way people find bizard because of it . But it helps me mash buttons with my thumb ... Who says humans don't evolve anymore ?

When I was a kid my parents bought me a tool for my Game Boy. It was sort of a magnifying glass, so the screen seemed bigger, and a little flashlight included. Needless to say I played through some nights when I was supposed to sleep. AND I never got caught!

Oh, gaming wise. yeah, the gamecube GBA converter. Im not going to lie, most of my time playing the gamecube was playing pokemon sapphire and Kirby, nightmare in dreamland.

among other GC and GBA games.

The cable that allowed you to swop your Pokemons from Your GBA to Pokemon Coliseum.

I had all the starters and the legendary Dogs and Ho-oh :D.

Wait, you had to *buy* that as an additional thing to get to play Gameboy games on a GameCube?? The Nintendo64 hand controller had a slot to plug in Gameboy cartridges, and that came with the box...
If you looked at the picture yes. The Gameboy player was a separate purchase. I don't know if there was a bundle when the Gamecube was on the market. I bought my gamecube for $25 and gameboy player for an additional $20 used (this was about 5 months ago).
