Best and Worst Pre-order Bonuses

Pokemon Heart Gold/ Soul Silver come with respective figures of Ho-oh and Lugia if you pre order them at game stop. That's pretty bad...

I was asked if I wanted to preorder Bayonetta after hearing it came with a replica of her Scarborough Fair gun. "Awesome, and seeing as its free I'll do that," I said. Day of release it was when them freak snow storms hit the UK, so stock wasn't delivered, but the game was. For two weeks I waited, and when they did get them guns in, the game shop head office recalled them with an excuse revolving round the selling of guns policy.

Yeah....anyway back on topic a little better, MW2's night vision goggles were pretty snasy. Did get them myself, but they still looked good quality.

I work in GAME, and we got ours two weeks after release. We never had a re-call on them, but ours took ages to go.

I wanted one, so one out of 4, then three customers, literally inside of 5mins of each other got the others, because we remembered we had them and wanted them out the stockroom, because they had sat for a week, and nobody had came to collect them.

I can only think of worst, Resident Evil 5, those bastards at Capcom gave a reeeeeeeeally miniture figurine and a bloody fabric handbag so you can look fashionable, pissed me off, but thats not the only thing! Any pre-order "bonus" you can unlock in 2 or 3 levels anyway, I'm looking at you Rainbow Six Vegas 2, you get 2 cheatcodes for weapons you unlock in a few levels anyway, how is that for lazy.

As for best....they are all usually the same now just to be safe but I guess MW2 with the night vision goggles, didn't get them just sounds more awesome than "HERE HAVE THIS EASILY SCRATCHED METAL CASE AND SKINS YOU WILL ALREADY UNLOCK!"

And that, Steam's extra is crap because you GET IT ANYWAY! Although this time its the last skin I think so meh, I'm still getting the Facehugger, since it comes with Steamworks (easier for DLC) theres no difference, hopefully they really fully actually no-lies give dedi support and get rid of that god-awfull "mic is constantly on in lobby".
