Anyway, for an action Anime, Hokuto no Ken 2 gets my pick (mostly because of the song).

For a modern action anime, the third Bleach Op, for a slice-of-life comedy, Lucky Star wins (both of these were posted already). For the liscenced stuff, I give it to the Devil May Cry Op ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su7xrBnMPUc ), uh, and that's it for now.

For example, if you want to know what my favorite op to a romance anime is, than you have to specify more (Shonen-anime (not Shonen-ai, thank you very much), Shoujo-anime (not Shoujo-ai, thank you very much), etc). Needless' OP has grown on me. Initially I didn't like it, but now I think it's pretty catchy. The only thing I don't like about it now is that I can't watch it without the subtitles around, because I'm so used to them.

Of course if FLCL's closer was it's opener, it'd take the gold. The pillows are fantastic.

They are true to their name, indeed. Though some of the in-show stuff is miles better (for me) than the closing credits.

Whichever anime was canceled after the opening credits...
