Because it's genuinely striking and quite scary.

The armour isnt scary, atleast not until you blow him up and use archemedies II to see him running out of the fire while you empty AP rounds into him. God that guy wa tough, this was normal mode BTW.

All it took for me on normal was a sneak attack critical to the head from the AM rifle, then another when he was running down the hill to the head (Still sneak) then one or two shotgun shells to the chest.

That guy who mentioned being the Armour of the Protagonist? Yeah. That, hands down.

That said, I love the Armoured Combat Suits from the Posleen Wars saga. Anything that'll let you survive detonating a high-yield tactical nuclear weapon by hand, the flight out to sea, and then the intervening time before someone comes and pulls your smoking torso and head from the water? A-Okay by me!

Plus, it's from a novel that's got Bun-Bun the Killer Mini-lop featured prominently on the front of a 200 foot battle tank. It's hard to get MORE badass than that.

And here I thought I was the only person on the forums who read this series. This was gonna be my suggestion as well, although personally I'd go with the second generation of the suits, the one Mike gets after surviving the explosion.

But it's not only the protective capabilities, it's also for the ability to blast music, create holograms, and generally carry on a form of psychological warfare like nothing ever seen before with just one suit.



(And, on a side note, Sluggy Freelance is awesome.)

Haha, I'm glad to not be the only person here who's enjoyed that series! And the limited anti-gravity capabilities, the absurd built in weapons systems, and the fact that Iron Mike is one of the biggest badasses ever written...

You forgot anti-matter powered, so it can run pretty much forever.
BTW, these suits ARE the most badass, can takeout any armour, even warhammer 40k, dreadnoughts, because of their automatic grav guns (3mm depleted uranium darts powered by antimatter going at 0.3 the speed of light (so 100 THOUSAND kilometers/second!), 20 mm antimatter grenades, Iron Mike's elbow mounted flamethrowers, and the various mono-molecular blades on the suit...not to mention, he COULD use terawatt lasers too, he obviously has the power for the secondary safety systems

Sanguinius, a primarch from 40k. His armor is pretty damn cool, most other art of him is a tad meh but this captures it perfectly. All the primarchs have awesome armor to be fair. The fanart for the armor ranges from awesome to average, find a good artist and holy jesus does it look cool.

In graphical terms it isn't amazing but for me its gotta be the Red Dragon Plate Armour from Neverwinter Nights. This is the instant choice for me because when I played Neverwinter online, on the server which I played on, that armour was the best plate you could get and it was very expensive and hard to get and I owned it. It was the equivalent of walking around in WoW rocking full .
