The first Prince of Persia I ever bought was Warrior Within for the GC.
I picked it up used for 5? on a whim and since then have bought every Title of the Series at Release.

Actually a good example of how used games help sell products longterm.

PS: Thought I haven't been enjoying them as much since the "Sands of Time"-Trilogie ended.

Every Humble Bundle save the latest 2 and the first for about 5 cents.

Alot of the Games aren't any good, but you do get stuff like Super Meat Boy, Braid, And yet it moves and a few others.

I think I just won.
And gamers wonder why we have a bad rap. You might as well of just pirated them and then punched an orphan.
Was it really that hard for you to read the post that is now directly under the one you quoted?

Also, why would I want to punch an orphan?

@MrGrey

You're right about that, I could do that aswell.

________

I guess I'd better see if I can edit that post, some people seem to have real diffculty looking a inch below it.
No I seen you backpedal. People didnt like your original post so you went all wishy-washy. You should run for office.

The orphan bit was a joke because of the scrooge like quality of paying a penny for all those games when the money goes to charity.
If the developers didn't think it was fair for people to pay in pennies, then they wouldn't have given that option. Shaming others because they didn't pay more than your standard of "fair share" goes against the spirit of the humble indie bundles.

Primal (PS2), $5
Great female lead, great voice acting, strong partner AI, creative single-player, nice level design, good story...all in all, a really nice game.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. The multiplayer was kind of fail but my friend and I still had fun shooting at each other.

Thanks for the heads up. It's too bad the UK version was broken... I loved that game, murderously difficult as it was.

*cough* Sorry... y'all can have your thread back :D

Picked up Alpha Protocol for $5, but I was actively looking for it at the time and would've paid much, much more.

Also, I've gotten Mass Effect 2, Lego: Star Wars, and Prince of Persia as gifts for others for dirt cheap.

Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifers Call
This is off-topic, but is Lucifer's Call the same thing as Nocturne in the U.S.? I heard someone describe the plot once and it sounded like the same game, but I am a huge SMT fan and if this is a game that was localized that I somehow missed... sign me up!
As far as I understand it...

Nocturne was rereleased with added content, most notably the entire Amala Labyrinth and the True Demon ending. This was called Nocturne: Maniacs Edition. Not sure why it was simply released as Lucifers Call here.

The game never crashed for me.

Hellishly hard though, never had an RPG beat me down like that. Love it though, real sense of FUCK YEAH, FUCK YOU GAME, FUCK YOU, when i beat it.

I've gotten a lot of good games from bargain bins. If there is any franchise notorious for getting your money's worth out of a bargain bin it is the Dynasty Warriors series. Get the game for 5-10$ for some mediocre button mashing action!

Oh, you wouldn't believe what I've found. See, I know this really great thrift store, right. They have massive sales all the time ($10 gets you a huge black bag full of whatever clothes you can stuff in it, I've gotten designer jeans for a few cents. Hell, I once found a brand-new vacuum-sealed pair of Calvin Klein's for $2!), but I digress, I'll continue. (This was a few years ago, maybe two...Don't really remember.)

As it seems, some person donated a whole lot of older games. Mostly for the PS1, PS2 and PC. I walked into that thrift store with $40, and I left with...Well, lots. Around 30 games, and only one didn't work. Things like God of War 1 & 2, Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Cross, lots of others. I think about 20 games were for the PS2, a few for the PS1 and a few for the PC.

But seriously, that place is amazing. I wish I still lived in that town...

Scored a copy of Just Cause 2 last year for nz$20. Immediately lost 3 days to it. So. Much. Fun. Still crank it from time to time for laughs.

Probably the oldest game I can remember having would be Legend of Dragoon for PS1 way back in the day. Got it for maybe five bucks and I played it for years to come. Also got a copy of Monsterseed which by no ways is it perfect, but its provided many years of good times for me and my brothers.
