Best boss battle themes.

So fellow escapists, what are your favourite boss battle themes?

For me.

Darksiders II: Guardian.

This song really elevated this boss battle to truly epic proportions. And was the high point of an otherwise somewhat disappointing game.

Final Fantasy XIII: Sabers Edge.

Though FFXIII received mixed reception I really enjoyed it. The soundtrack in particular is stellar though this theme is by far the best and made every boss battle a true joy (0:33-1:11 is just pure orgasmic epicness).

Final Fantasy X: Seymore battle theme.

Spoiler

This theme plays during the final battle with Seymour. Just a fantastic theme and fitting for the character.

Lastly though this is not a boss battle theme I'm gonna add it anyway because it's just beautiful.

Final Fantasy X: People of the north pole.

This song plays on Mt gagazet and because of this it is my favourite area in the game.

I saw Meridian Dance put up, but here's Danger which plays for pretty much every other boss battle in Secret Of Mana and you will never get tired of hearing it.


Than there's The Sorcerer(or Dark Lich theme), which is so out of place when compared to the rest of Secret of Mana's Soundtrack but is still pretty great in a messed up kind of way

Thanks for saving me some time looking that stuff up. Really, any of the music from the Genesis Sonic games is fantastic. I can't speak for the later games because I don't go near them. Sonic 4 almost had something good, but they messed up the execution, IMO.

There is only one boss theme that for some reasons stuck in my head
Deus Ex:HR last boss fight
But to be honest, the half of that soundtrack is awesome
What I like the best is that all of the music in the game have elements of main theme

From the top of my head I can think of just these four:

Magneto's theme from MVC 3 because PREPARE TO DIE X-CHICKENS.

Final encounter theme for Thanatos R in Resident Evil Outbreak becuase that theme still sends chills down my spine.

Technically the film version of Nemesis's theme which sounds cold and merciless to me when he mowed down S.T.A.R.S.

One of Albert Wesker's boss battle themes from Resident Evil 5 because I do enjoy both the digital and orchestral mixes.
