Best Boss ever?

The first time facing Tabuu in SSBB. Man, he was hard. He still kind of is.

Anyways, my choice is Ganondorf/Ganon from Ocarina of Time.

Ninja Gaiden's final boss, the whole game was so hard and then on the final boss you could just keep using Flying Swallow, too bad they fixed it in Ninja Gaiden Black.

Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2, even if he isn't a boss, he still kicks ass

In Metal Gear Soild 4 when you fight Metal Gear Ray that was truely epic!

KH2 Sephiroth. The only boss that I haven't been able to beat at the end of the game without lvling up some more.

oh, and when you pull through with an herculean (unless you're lvl 100 with ultima weapon) effort, he simply shrugs of the damage you did to him and tells you to get someone else that can actually beat him.

I'm going to vouch for FFXII actually. After what you thought was the final boss, and would make perfect sence to be the end, he gets possessed and essentially turns into robo-bahamut, but it all makes sence, and he is appropriately hard so that you can just speed-run the game and he's beatable, while you can be 15 levels higher than you and can still beat you if you make stupid mistakes

Or Maiden Astrea in Demon's Souls. But really, the music made it epic.

So far, I'll have to go with Tidal Wave from the PS2 Transformers game from 2004. He is, quite literally, an aircraft carrier that walks like a man. Plus there's a variety of strategies you can use to bring him down: rely on rechargable shields and rocket launchers, drive around the beach and squeeze off shots from your sniper rifle, take off from a rock pinnacle and fly right in his face, ... this fight is just epic.

I have to agree that fight was quite different and yet enjoyable.
