Gau from FF6. He was absolutely hysterical, lived as a nomad feral badass in the Veldt. He can copy the moves of any monsters in the Veldt and use them later. He also likes shiny things.
Also I read the title of this thread and totally thought it said "Best Child Poltergeist", which would have been awesome!
'Toon Link' was first to come to mind. He doesn't get an age jump like OoT Link and started adventuring when he was 10 years old, defeating both Ganondorf and Bellum in separate quests before presumably settling down and governing the new kingdom he and Tetra had founded. He doesn't have any annoying lines for obvious reasons, but the facial expressions alone make him a very funny character:
He has a lot more that they don't show. And then there's his cat impression.
Tetra too, come to think of it.
No one knows Kirby's age, but he has the mind and the size of a child. But he will always be that way so it's kind of cheating.
