Rush from Mega Man. He's a spring to help you reach high ledges, a jetboard to help you invade a flying fortress, a metal detector to help you find bolts, 1-ups and extra health, a motorcycle to speed up your travel, and occasionally even a Power Suit to make you stronger. He's probably the most useful dog I've ever come across in gaming.

Dogmeat is a bit gimmicky, it doesn't work, but then they didn't put as my time into the dog engine as the Fable team did, so Kitten my dog from Fable 2 must win.
