Best Dog of Gaming?

Since the best dogs have already been taken, I will mention Sam from Sam & Max.

That's actually my choice as best dog hey. I mean, if you look at the original sam and max games. I have no idea what the newer ones are like.

Dogmeat from Fallout 3, and the wolves from MGS1 (sniper wolf),altough they're actually not dogs but their still canine so meh

For everyone who thought Dogmeat was annoying check Pariah Dog from Fallout 2. I hate him!

Best would be K-9 (cyberdog ftw!)

K-9 was a fantastic follower. 140+ health and he got so many critical hits. Its a shame he wont follow me any more, all I did was slaughter some raiders.
Never found Dogmeat to be annoying, he was great in fallout 1 and 3. His puppy was even better, because there's an endless supply of them.

Your tame dog from Nethack is easily my favorite. A loyal friend that kept your company during your long trek down the dungeons, and also a capable fighter. He could even steal from shops for you!

If you want awesome dogs... well... probably dog of hl2, but he's still a bit... meh

Fable 2 Dog (mine was called sparky) Sparky could do tricks, find diamonds with his nose and maul bandits. He made such an impression i choose to revive him in an instant, he singlehandly was worth 1,000,000 gold and the lives of countless NPCs
