Pretty much exactly what it sounds like, what do you think are the best fictional dogs?

Note: I'm just talking about canines. Not werewolves, or furries, or anything like that. Beyond that, make the distinctions as to what counts to yourself.

My first nomination has to be Dug, from Up:

My mother was awesome introducing me to them all and I have fond memories of the films and books surrounding these dogs.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, in terms of video game dogs, the dog from Secret of Evermore was pretty damn awesome too.

EDIT 2: Pongo from the original Disney movie is an old favorite of mine, should have posted him up there with Benji.
