Aight so I want somethin new to play, so rather than get a new game I'd get some DLC, and New Vegas's DLC looks interesting. So, which one would you say is the best? Ive heard that Dead Money isn't that good so I wont go for that

I'd say Old World Blues is a MUST have if you want some humor and fun voice cameos as well as a new awesome house full of talking furniture. If you're a fan of the Venture Brothers, you'll want this one.

Honest Hearts is skippable, but it has some of the best characters you'll find, plus some really good Survival recipes for hardcore mode like Black Coffee and making your own armor. Not to mention you get some REALLY neat weapons out of it.

Dead Money is "interesting" to say the least. It's very Skill Check heavy, and if you go in with your skills lacking, you're going to be fucked most of the time because the enemies will ruin you. The map is VERY confusing your first time around, and I could never figure out how to do one of the possible endings. But it's a very interesting story and you get some insight on some characters you have only heard of til that point.

Lonesome Road is another must have. You get TONS of backstory on the Courier and meet a VERY interesting character who changes depending on how you've played the game. You also get some backstory on everyone's favorite flying suitcase ED-D, who become INCREDIBLY useful when you find his upgrades, like having him just fix one of your weapons to almost max condition once a day to being a portable Work Bench.

I'd also say you should get Gun Runners' Arsenal. TONS of new weapons, weapon mods, and even new mods for vanilla game weapons. You also get access to a bunch of REALLY good challenges you can do to get extra XP, like the "A Slave Obeys" challenge which is to kill House with a golf club.

EDIT: If I had to give some advice to someone who's going into Dead Money for the first time, I'd say you could REALLY benefit from doing some research on it first. If you don't mind spoiling what's going to happen for yourself, it'll give you the chance to build up your skills for the checks you're going to have to make.

I agree that Lonesome Road and Old World Blues are absolute must-haves.

Dead Money has an interesting story, but it's also unforgiving and Honest Hearts, though bland, let's you meet one of the most interesting characters of the game

None of the expansions are *bad* per se, some are just flawed

They're honestly all worth playing, my personal favourites being Old World Blues and Lonesome Road. They ooze atmosphere.

I couldn't help but hear "HEY THERE, RUSTY!" every time I talked to Doctor 0. Literally every time.

I'm likely in the minority here, but I thought Dead Money was the best of the four DLCs. I liked the difficulty of it, and I loved the whole survival/horror vibe they were going for.

I thought Honest Hearts was pretty weak. The new weapons are great, but the DLC itself is pretty short and kind of a let-down in the story/characters department.

Old World Blues was probably my second favorite after Dead Money. Decent length, some cool new gear, and the story/characters can be pretty funny at times.

Lonesome Road... ehhh... not sure what to say. I didn't think it wasn't bad, but it wasn't really great either. Only thing that really puts it above Honest Hearts to me is that you get a lot more content for your money.

I have only played Old World Blues and Honest Hearts so far, and they're both very much worth playing, although Old World Blues is by far better.

They're all good, but can't you just get the complete package with the Ultimate Edition?
And Dead Money is pretty cool, I liked the Casino setting, a bit dark though.

I like Honest Hearts and Old World Blues about equally. Honest Hearts is just tailor-made for me. I'm a sucker for outdoorsy/survivalist stuff. I also like Joshua Graham and Daniel as characters.

Old World Blues I haven't liked as much in subsequent playthroughs as I did the first time I played it, but that was much due to how many unexpected things you find in it (Awww look at the wittle deathcwaw...come here, buddy. I won't hurt - OW OW! Die you evil beast! Die by my explosive pawnch!). It's still great, though.

I hated Dead Money the first time I played it, and was a bit disappointed by Lonesome Road. But I actually grew to like them both much more in later playthroughs. Even though I put them in a tie for last, I still like them.

Get all of them. Each one is great in its own way. Honest Hearts kinda skimps on the story department, but the area is so fascinating, and Joshua is such a cool character. Also, the story of the survivor who found his way to zion is depressing and wonderful.

I loved Old World Blues and Lonesome Road the most of the four different DLCs. Of course while playing Dead Money, I couldn't help but think of Hotel California for some reason....(Also you couldn't sell any gold bars unless you made massive purchases beforehand >.>). Honest Hearts was so dull that I rushed through it because it had no real appeal for me. Although Joshua was a great character, which was one of the only real good points of the DLC.

Every time he quotes the bible, you question whether you're talking to the avatar of divine justice or infernal vengeance

I'll have to echo the sentiment that Old World Blues and Lonesome Road are must-haves, because they are. There's a lot of fantastic writing and awesome loot abound in both of them. I'd still recommend the others as well, because they're still pretty good despite their problems, but if you can only get two, get those two.

Old World Blues and GRA are must haves in my opinion. Lonesome Road is also good, get that too if you have the extra cash.

Honest Hearts offers some good perks and Zion is a nice change of pace from the wasteland, but it's really short. Recommended for those who really like New Vegas like me.

Dead Money is trip through hell with limited supplies, clouds of poison, and invincible holographic enemies you have to sneak past. Recommended for Survival Horror fans.

Well, I've only played three of the DLCs:

Dead Money sucks on toast. Hated it. Worst part is, since you can't LEAVE the DLC when you start it, I had to revert to an earlier save to stop playing it. Just do yourself a favor and skip it.

I'm in the process of playing Honest Hearts. It's okay, but it's completely wrecked my game's stability. Since I downloaded it, I've been having bad freezing problems. Otherwise, it's okay so far.

Old World Blues is ten shades of awesome. I loved every single character, and the location itself is pretty bitchin. Highly, highly recommended.

If you want a challenge, I'd go with Dead Money. I was able to get all the bars thanks to a bug. People hate this DLC from removing your equipment, but it gives off a survival-horror feel.

Old World Blues is my favorite DLC of all Fallout titles. It gives you great perks, especially the chip to damage more Cazadores. Also, you get a nice place to chill in.

Honest Hearts was meh. Cool characters though.

Lonesome Road is tons of fun. You'll get ALOT of good weapons.
