Lonesome Road was awesome. The Red Glare with all of its attachments is awesome. ED-E was awesome too.

I did not like the story in Dead Money, and I hated that I had to kill off two of the three companions. They had a deathwish and would not indulge my desire to keep them alive. But I managed to leave the Sierra Madre with over 5000 stimpacks (Get 7500 in the casino somehow and it pays you 1100 chips every 3 days while there. Use that BS credit system to make Stimpack. After spending a year in game doing this, I enough chips.)

I enjoyed Honest Hearts.

Can't talk about Old World Blues. It glitched on me all the time.

Dead Money is trip through hell with limited supplies, clouds of poison, and invincible holographic enemies you have to sneak past. Recommended for Survival Horror fans.
All you have to do is find their hologram projectors! It was quite simple in my opinion.
That's what I meant. You have to sneak past them to find the projectors, and looking for them while avoiding holograms and finding radios to turn off (or avoiding the shielded ones) actually gets pretty complicated sometimes if I recall correctly.
PSSSSSH! Everybody knows you just charge in there and jump around as they all attack you! That's what I did!

Captcha: Easy As Cake. See even Captcha agrees with me!

Old World Blues is the best DLC imo. It has it all: intriguing storyline, black humour, interesting characters, some twists here and there.

Dead money is not horrible to me, it's downright horrifying! I've never been so scared playing a Fallout game before. The dark and lonely atmosphere, the grotesque enemies that keep getting up after you knock them out, not to mention it was very challenging.

Lonesome road was just plain boring.

If you know exactly where you are going and what you are doing and even then, you are still going to take a lot of damage and I don't like spending all of my chips on stimpaks.

I'm not saying it's hard because of 1 thing like the holograms. I'm saying it's frustratingly annoying because of several things. You have to avoid the holograms and find and cut the emitters while finding radios/speakers to cut AND avoiding the invul-shielded speakers.
Finding the later level emitters also requires platforming which this game does rather poorly.

Ok I take it back. This DLC isn't for survival horror fans, it's for masochists that like getting their heads blown off and getting hit by things they cant directly kill.

Well i really like dead money. I really like the way they put Father Elijah in it. Honest Hearts was short but the weapons are really good. I dont have Old World Blues or Lonesome Road but i will get them.Plus with Dead Money if you escape with all the gold (which i did) it really pays off (bad pun) caps wise.

Get the edition that has all of them, ULTIMATE EDITION! It is very cheap even on disc and you get everything.

Gun Runners adds some nice weapons, but far from essential.
Dead Money is an actual challenge, slightly creepy and if you play it right can give you an amazing continuous reward to help you the whole game. Can be frustrating as all hell though and you don't get enough of all the interesting new characters.
Honest Hearts I found the most boring play-wise, but the Burned Man is epic and I actually cried reading the well-crafted story and journals of the "hidden character".
Old World blues was funny, fun, had some cool new gadgets (those axes! DAMN!) and some of it was decently hard. Over-all just very good.
Lonesome road was fun to play, very high-level DLC to really make an uber endgame character. ED-Es story was expanded very well, but the main character of it I found to be somewhat meh. Still very good overall.

But get them all. Just do it :p

Intelligence at least 8 or higher (I always put my int at 10 at the beginning so I do not know the exact number that you need)
Never put int straight to 10 :p Or any special really, because it means you have one less opportunity for an extra special point with the implants that cannot take you over 10. Go to 9 and put 1 in something else.

Also for Dead Money: luck 8. I am serious. BlackJack with luck 8 will get you so much cash that you can literally buy any weapon and armour set you want in the game. And if you find the vendor's ammo recipe, you can get basically unlimited ammo if you clear out the casinos and reach the point where they won't let you gamble. Definitely worth it.
