What is your best anti zombie weapon of choice?
Mine personally would be the pistol, any kind.

The humble spear. It has reach, unlimited use assuming I use it properly and it has retro appeal. Though god help me when I need to run into that safe room and it's strapped to my back... Well, god help whoever's in front of me when it's NOT strapped to my back as well.

Shotgun easily. If a zombie apocalypse occured and I had my pick of armament, I would choose a shotgun to hold, with two pistols in a dual holster, and a sniper rifle in a seperate carrying thing on my back. Long, mid and short range weaponry, and I'd have twin swords also attached to my belt. A veritable killing machine. Plus, given I've known how to use a gun, and fired them myself, ever since I was 14 years old (surprising since I live in the UK), I know how to fire and exactly where to aim to kill a man (or zombie). Not that a shotgun really needs much aiming, just point and shoot. No way will I die in a zombie apocalypse...

The shotgun wins every time, but I prefer the saw blade-gravity gun combo. Nothing better than lining up three slow zombies in a row and taking their heads off with a well-timed shot.

Anyway, I'd have to say a crowbar or something to that effect (maybe something lighter but just as strong). I know that if ever a zombie apocolypse comes, relying on ammo would get you killed. If I had the choice of a side arm, I'd probably go for a shotgun, the shrapnel would be good for taking out multiple zombies in a single shot and wouldn't rely so much on presice aim.
