Its a tie between the 40k-verse and D&D.
Both are ever expanding realms of awesome.

Plus, the SPASE MAAAHREENS hold a special spot in my heart. (FO TEH EMPRAAAAH)
Ive been a collector since i was knee high and could pronounce "Emperor" correctly.

Is there a person on The Escapist who didn't want to be able to use The Force at some point in their life?

Yeah, I thought so. There's my answer.

Mass Effect comes second, if you remove the Reaper threat. Asari FTW!
Ah, now that is a very good argument for the Star Wars universe. But what about a universe with **MAGIC**?

I've always enjoyed the Mass Effect and Fallout universes.

No real answer to this, is there? Everyone has a different favourite fictional, it's like finding the best movie of all time or the best music piece of all time.
Then throw "In your opinion" on the end of the title.

Definitely the Mass Effect universe, it may not make much sense scientifically but it just feels logical. Yes, the explanations for why things happen only make sense if you don't read into any real science behind such things, but you know what they say "ignorance is bliss".

For a fantasy universe I'd have to go with the LOTR universe, it has a little bit of something for everyone.

Seriously, Pokemon would be amazing to live in. It'd only be frigtening to run into something crazy strong in the wild.
people knock out ten year olds and steal their money when they win the equivilant of a dog fight... meh I would still like to be in the pokeverse

The fictional universe I would live in the one portrayed in Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley, provided I was born into the society. It may be gruesome to observe from the perspective we have, but it is a nice place to live if you can't think.

Dragon Age universe.

Bioware took the time to make a friggin' religion. That's dedication.
If you think Bioware making a single religion is a sign of dedication, you need to go read the UESP. Thousands of years of historical accounts, hundreds of in-game books, accounts of the cults and religious variations across time and cultures, and the grand monomyth (the generally accepted creation myth told by most civilizations in the world). The sheer amount of detail Bethesda has put into The Elder Scrolls games is staggering.
