August is almost over, and the summer movie season is coming to a close. So, which was your favorite? And yes, all films that have come out this month count. Scott Pilgrim counts.

I liked Toy Story 3. Excellent film.
But I know most of you will say Inception.

EDIT: The season is May to August

Inception was fantastic, but I vote for Scott Pilgrim. It was the sweetly geeky movie of the year.

Toy Story 3 by far. Second is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. This has, in all honesty, been a pretty crappy year for movies though. I mean, the best movie to come out this year is the Book of Eli and I doubt it will win best picture because it's "religious" (ugh... I could go on for hours about why that is ridiculous) and it's also up against Inception which I'm starting to think is the Avatar of 2010.

I'm gonna just have to go with Inception... then Toy Story 3 as a close close second, and Scott Pilgrim in 3rd.

Easily Toy Story 3, out of the ones I had seen. Pixar has never let me down, and in this case it's their flagship franchise. I missed out on Scott Pilgrim, though my mom saw it with a friend and had a glowing review. Funny, she's hardly the target demographic, but we're both fans of the director. When is the next Blood'N'Ice Cream thing coming out anyway?

Scott Pilgrim

Inception to me was over hyped. Wasn't a bad film - just was over hyped. Most say there is so much to talk about - I disagree - the film left nothing to the imagination and explained everything. Well except the top at the end. But I left the film not giving a rats ass. IMO - Stories like that have been done way better - IE: Matrix - Repomen - Spotless Mind

Who cares if it's religious? A good movie is a good movie. You act as if the entire world is some group of biased, religion-hating dickweeds, but thats' just the internet.

I still have yet to watch Toy Story 3 or several other summer movies, but I'm definitely behind the one I did watch:

Inception.

Not sure.

Probably either Iron Man 2 or The A-Team.
I also loved The Expendables and The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Didnt watch all that many movies, which I feel is rather unfourtunate for myself, as I always enjoy a good movie. The only two movie I saw this summer where The Expendables and Scott Pilgrim, and fuck all of you, I hated Scoot Pilgrim and loved The Expendables, of course I love any action movie where one or a few guys kill almost an entire enemy army.

*Edit*

BTW, are we talking the Best movie of the Summer, cause I doubt there was any really good movie. Or are we talking about our favorite, as my post answered that already, though like I also said, I hardly watched any movies this summer...

Scott Pilgrim, was just awesome, loved the whole movie. KO

Inception was pretty cool, but had a few too many plot holes that weren't explained well enough, I dunno if this was done on purpose to make you look back and try and figure things out on your own, but whatever. I also found it a bit cliche, and I really had a hard time not laughing when dude was all "this is a special version of the sleep agent that makes you not wake up when killed"...talk about plot convince. The effects were cool and it was interesting, but it wasn't my favorite.

I ignored Toy Story 3 on purpose due to not being 12 anymore.

Also Iron Man 2 kinda sucked.

Splice, Scott Pilgrim, I thought inception was pretty good but not the best, Toy story 3 was awesome and you know what? I don't care if you've already seen it, Go see Scott Pilgrim again. I did.

I missed toy story 3! after all of the waiting and the plans and the memories, I missed it!
But I did see Inception and Scott Pilgrim.
So I'll go with Inception, because Scott Pilgrim did nothing for me. Thought it was meh, and not really worth it. It might be because I hate Michael Cerra, but i don't think that that's all of it.
So Tl;dr, inception.

Scott Pilgrim easily. Its probably going to be my number one of the year.

Toy Story 3 at a close second. It was a blast, and such a nice flashback to my younger days. Made me play with my old toys afterwards.
