And, not by means of argument or anything else, I just discovered that CoD4 is the number 1 selling FPS of all time. I never knew that.

For online gameplay it's COD4. Spent a year playing the online purely because it's awesome.
Offline it's Halo: Combat Evolved. I must have ran through this game a million times.

My first ever FPS was Timesplitters 2, which I thought was amazing.

It's a close call between Fallout 3, Half Life 2 and STALKER: Clear Sky. The latter because if you wanted to enjoy it for what it was, it does more than the tango with you.

Bioshock, to tell the ultimate truth. While it's the only FPS I've played, it's an FPS. That I played. I hardly ever play those, I can never get into them. But I really got into Bioshock, it was fun, and the story was great.

My personal favourite is Timesplitters: Future Perfect.
Although when I've caught up with this gen that may change.
I also rather like Killzone though, and when i've completed that once again my opinion may change.

Someone after my own heart! It brings a tear to my eye. I love TS3. There's nothing more awesome than seeing a ninja monkey turn a zombie deer into raspberry jelly with a brick.
